While I have complained about everything that was taken away from Juliette/Eve, the one thing that was not taken from her was her intelligence. I don't know, maybe having an intelligent girlfriend was just too much for poor Nick's mental state.Hi Iruk,
I can't say the same about Adalind. In making her a mother and subservient to Nick, they took away her intelligence. I suppose that puts her more at Nick's level. Can't have Nick in love with a woman who's more intelligent than he is.
I recall our "slumming" discussions. At the time, a primary issue was who owned the house Nick and Juliette shared. I believe it was Nick who sold the house while the corpse of supposedly deceased Juliette Silverton, DVM was nowhere to be found. That would require Nick to have been the outright owner. Add to that how she was sleeping in her car after she left Nick and those two facts would lead one to wonder how far beneath Nick's league was Juliette?
As far as things "taken from her" what I saw was thirty something professional who threw her life in the dumper to become a violent psychopath. If her family knew what she had done would they think she made intelligent choices?
G&K had Juliette die for her misdeeds. Then they bring on FrankenEve the emotionless, automaton Wooden Woman. She is quite the catch, especially when you take into account her hooker wigs. But she has moved up from a cell in HW to a cot in the Spice Shop.
