I think we are defining infiltrating differently. To wit order to infiltrate I believe you need to be able to ferret out disparate pieces of data, steer yourself to more data access, and analyze and assess what you find. From a greater vantage point you would think HW was a far larger organization than just Portland and there was no logical reason to believe anyone as powerful as Eve would only be stationed in Portland. Especially given what Trouble related about their far and wide travels.
Moreover the idea that they would let Nick waltz in, even if they were recruiting him, and give him access to operatives and locations is not realistic. Nor is the assumption, given the relationship they would ever put him near Eve or Trubel for that matter.
But, as I said, I had trouble with he entires BC/HW plotline from inception; I really wanted to like it and for it to make sense.
To their credit, the writers motivated me to spend a couple of hours reading about Hadrian's Wall so I greatly appreciated the learning opportunity the show afforded me.
We're not viewing it differently. I had a hard time believing HW would want Nick to begin with much less having Meisner show him around and then subsequently let him on the premises. I was just thinking that since the brainless creative team went to that ridiculous length, it wouldn't have been hard for them to have Nick start piecing things together. In real life, no way.
To be honest, I had a hard time believing HW would take someone like Juliette. In my opinion, it would have made much more sense to eliminate her along with Diana.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
