I merely referred to Kelly's actions as a reference that Nick could use if he needed to leave someone he loves behind just as his aunt asked him to years ago as a means to protect them from a life of a Grimm. For now, baby Kelly is kehrseite, just like Juliette was when his aunt warned him about the dangers he'd put her in, if he didn't let Juliette go/leave her. Like Juliette, Kelly is vulnerable to Nick's life as a Grimm but lucky for him, his mother is a hexenbiest so he may not have it as bad as Juliette did when Nick ignored his aunt and continue with their ill-fated relationship.(02-25-2017, 07:16 AM)rpmaluki Wrote: Of the people Nick loves and cares about now, who are the most vulnerable, it's Kelly so it stands to reason that should Nick be pushed to leaving his family in order to protect them it would be because of Kelly and any threats made to his life (and Adalind by extension) which is no different than what his own mother did. She left him because she thought it would keep him safe. Kelly is still a baby, if someone/thing threatens him in any way and Nick feels the only way to protect his son is to leave, I can see him do just that. There's already a family precedent and mama Kelly was big on making sacrifices for those she loved even when she regretted it every single day. Nick could do the same for his son, I'm not saying that he will, only that it's a possibility.
Kelly left her son in order to get revenge for the death of her husband and to get rid of the coins and left her son with a famous active grimm her sister. The aunt protected Nick by moving across the country.
