I looked it up and found that Dr. Frankenstein's first name was Victor. The quote at the beginning of the episode was by Mary Shelley's mother. The son was reanimated by those heart-shocking thingees instead of an electric bolt brought on by lightning, but the similarity is there. And he was pieced together by parts from dead bodies like the original monster. Maybe I missed it, but I don't think the son's first name was ever mentioned, and Dr. Frankenstein didn't name his creation; it was just called the Frankenstein monster. I'm sure there were other clever references to the story. Now if Sven can just locate the Easter egg, I'll be a very happy camper. I liked the episode a lot, so what's new.One of your points peaks a second thought the blood on the mirror. We seen a lot hexenbiest potion need blood, so now the scoobies have it. We seen other times something small that the writers think will go unnoticed someone on the forum catches it.
The Russian friend of Sean started to unwind the message on the cloth and in the tunnel. She confirmed that Diana was closely linked to the message and that it probably was about something very bad. I think it's coming thru a portal taking the form of a mirror and is getting close to breaking through. The skull is very associated with Diana's origination and she has used it frequently when she's displeased. This evil thing looks like a skull, maybe Diana's unconsciously calling it, the little beggar. Probably not. But the fact that Juliette/Eve bit it and it shed blood is encouraging to me. We should note that the group has a sample of its blood.
I now know a big part of Sean's attraction for me in that he's so multi-lingual. Sasha actually is; another example of the writers letting the artists showcase their specific talents in these final episodes. His character is so darn smart, even though he doesn't display a particularly wise use of his brain power at times.
Gad, I loved seeing Hank being featured prominently in this episode and thoroughly enjoyed the clever banter between he and Wu, it was some really good dialog. Especially the cemetery scene.
I didn't see anything that changes my mind about the Nick/Juliette dynamic tonight. Their's was a true romance that was star-crossed from the beginning of the series and too much has happened for them to ever reunite as a couple. All the components of a Greek tragedy, imo. This episode just emphasized that sorrowful truth for me.
But to wrap up on a happier note, Monroe is kind of freaked out about having triplets and that dream was a perfect subconscious representation of his fears about the coming birth and his responsibilities as a father. So cute, so Monroe.

That said was S6E8 where he hears Maries warning and Kellys ok with it as now applying to Adalind? Was he thinking about if even Adalind would be safe with him as a Grimm?
