Diana seems to have more of an indifference to where and who she is with.
Take Grossante at any time Diana could have left or contacted Sean or Adalind. But what did she do. She played with Grossante like he was a rag doll. Diana battered the guy so bad he wanted to die. Yet in her opinion she was on a play date.
When Adalind was taking Diana to Nick's place for the first time, Diana asked about her dad multiple times.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
