I remember Adalind shedding a single blood tear for her mother, considering her mother disowned her. Nick was extremely devastated when he found his mother head, that was hard for me to watch.
But isn't that between Nick and Eve. I still don't get what purpose is served by bringing Diana into this.

The mirror monster might be looking for someone physically close to Diana but who has mixed feeling about her so they can take her over to use to push Diana though a mirror to them. Eve/Juliette after talking about the past with Nick and others can cope better with the mirror monster and then Adalind and Sean will be included so the mirror monster will not be able to use Eve/Juliette or anyone else to get to Diana.
Does the mirror monster want Diana? I got the impression it wanted Eve.
I can tell you why I think it really Diana in a different thread but yes that is what I believe. If Eve can make herself less of a target then IMO Adalind is next. The baby selling contract could be used to make her a target for the mirror monster to use to get to Diana.
It's possible, but Diana has been residing in the house and using the bathroom just like Eve. If the demon wanted her, it would have gone after her and she would have made some mention of that to Adalind.
