If you talk to someone with DID (and I have, about six them, all living in the same body), they all see themselves as different people and think they are whole people, even though it's pretty obvious that each of them is missing something that you'd expect a "whole" person to have. Some of them may seem to lack compassion, some a sense of humor, some certain abilites, like being able to sing, cook or read well. Some of them will know about the other "selves," some won't, some will regard themselves as the original person's protectors, others will see the original as a weakling or even an enemy.
What struck me as perhaps the weirdest thing is that sometimes one will know everything the others are doing, be aware of what's going on and take on a sort of "dispatcher" role, determining which of the different selves is the best one to be in control in a given situation and "calling" it forth.
In treatment, the goal is usually to gradually "integrate" all the different "selves" into a single personality, which will not necessarily be the "original" self. So if the stick ends up "curing" Juliette/Eve, they might merge into yet a third, different personality who can do everything that Juliette and Eve could do but doesn't see herself as either.
