Was Adalind lying to Rosalee when she stated she was afraid of her hexenbiest taking control when it came back or was she telling the truth?
Was Eve lying to Nick when she cautioned Nick about Adalind's hexenbiest coming back?

I never wrote anything stating she wasn't. Who's to say that Eve isn't faking the former Juliette attitude while her real plan is to get Nick's trust, then murder him?

She is clearly not the same character she once was but she's talked about as if she is. I liked naughty Adalind myself but I can't ignore what the show has portrayed her character to be for the last two seasons.
The definitions were provided by Grimm, not by anyone on the forum. Viewers have not only been told that hexenbiests are not only manipulative but it's been demonstrated on Nick himself. Adalind worries about her hexenbiest coming back and Eve warns Nick about the hexenbiest coming back.
I don't know if there's anything to it, all I'm saying is there could be a con in the works. I'd like to be completely certain that Adalind is not the same character she was in season 1 but I'm not because I'm just not entirely convinced.
Neither Juliette or Adalind were lying. They were voicing their concerns. That does not equate to running a con. It would be very strange for Juliette to betray Nick to his death since she apparently has a pure soul now.
What would it take to convince you that Adalind isn't her season 1 self? You're talking about details the show has provided yet remain unconvinced about what the show is telling us about Adalind over the last two seasons. There has been nothing to indicate that she's this conniving schemer or she's waiting for the right time to turn on everyone.
Once again, I think that who Adalind actually is is being ignored. It seems to me like you see Hexenbiest before you see Adalind. This is a character we've been following for six seasons and not just a typical WOW that gets defined by Nick's books because we'll never see them again. She's obviously changed. Adalind along with Juliette have undergone the most change in the series. The other characters appear stagnant compared to them so I wouldn't paint them into a corner.
