I will agree Kenneth adding another reason for Juliette to hate Adalind would not lessen Juliette desire to kill her. But like after the gargoyle. Kenneth said no one is going to kill anyone. Also remember even Juliette was expecting Adalind to return to the hotel. that is why she was going to leave. Two Juliette tried to kill Adalind but couldn't. It was not because she did not have the ability. It was because she could not find it in herself to kill her. Had Juliette really want to hit her with the gargoyle she would not have missed.
I am not saying Juliette would not have made Adalind life miserable. I am sure Juliette would have tormented Adalind like Adalind tormented Juliette. But she would not have killed her. We also saw Kenneth had to get permission from the King to go after Sean. He would have had to get the same permission to do something to Adalind. As long as Adalind remained faithful to the Royals she would have had their protection.
Adalind couldn't trust Kenneth to prevent Juliette from killing her because he was just talking about betrayal being a good option. Anything regarding her safety was rendered null and void once he made that statement. Kenneth talked about nobody being killed before he talked about betrayal and ignored Adalind's pleas to keep Juliette out of it when she tried to convince him she was still needed. Adalind was also aware that she was of no help trying to locate Kelly but she had to know that Juliette would be.
