Quote:Adalind making the assumption that Kenneth would use Juliette to attack her was more than reasonable. The writers were pretty much screaming it at us. That's why Adalind says "You wouldn't!" right after he tells her he's going to inform Juliette about Adalind being pregnant. Juliette had already nearly dropped a gargoyle on her at that point and she reasonably assumed that she would come me after her without hesitation after hearing the news. Adalind specifically requests that Nick protect her from Juliette.
Adalind tried to tell Kenneth of her importance by mention she's Diana's mother. Kenneth was strongly implying that they were going with Juliette and didn't care what she would do to Adalind.
I will agree Kenneth adding another reason for Juliette to hate Adalind would not lessen Juliette desire to kill her. But like after the gargoyle. Kenneth said no one is going to kill anyone. Also remember even Juliette was expecting Adalind to return to the hotel. that is why she was going to leave. Two Juliette tried to kill Adalind but couldn't. It was not because she did not have the ability. It was because she could not find it in herself to kill her. Had Juliette really want to hit her with the gargoyle she would not have missed.
I am not saying Juliette would not have made Adalind life miserable. I am sure Juliette would have tormented Adalind like Adalind tormented Juliette. But she would not have killed her. We also saw Kenneth had to get permission from the King to go after Sean. He would have had to get the same permission to do something to Adalind. As long as Adalind remained faithful to the Royals she would have had their protection.
