I thought the episode was OK. Like some other folks, I didn't think it advance the story line very much. Unless Renard's attempts to prime Diana as a weapon to be used against Nick will have some very real consequences later on.
However, Renard had better be very careful. Diana may be a Daddy's girl, but from what I've seen she is Mommy's girl most of all.
It seems the relic (I refuse to call it 'the stick'! ) does not like having a hexenbiest touching it. It also seemed to send Nick a 'warning' off possible danger.
This brings up a couple of questions. Does anyone remember if any other members of the crew touched the relic in any of the episodes from last season? I seem to recall that Truble touched it when Nick and she hid it away again.
Does this mean that only grimms can touch and use the relic without being harmed?
There definitely seems to be some foreshadowing going on as to what will happen to Monroe and Rosalee at the end of the series.
