When we saw her again in S04, she really didn't seem able to do all that much more than she could as an infant (levitate small objects, create illusions of herself and make skulls appear in hot coffee and window reflections). This despite the fact that she matured from infancy to the apparent age of five in only a year.
But another year later and she looks more like 12 or 13. That's a big development jump.
Nobody has ever mentioned this, btw. I wonder if that means it's not unusual for a three year old hexenbiest to look the way she does?
The King mentioned how fast Diana grew in S04.

However, his prissy remark when Adalind appears probably says he cares a lot more than he'd like to admit.
I could never forget that part too, when Nick telling Renard "She didn’t turn ME down,"....hahaha, that was refrshing. Made me laugh.
You could be right, that Renard may have a bit care for Adalind, but this could have transpired because it seems he understood that his options were running thin so as his old time allies/friends were no more. People who really understood him and helped him in the past. It could be him feeling vunerable at that moment.
BC are not his friends, I believe he knows that too, he knows he is part of a tool for a bigger agenda. If he does make a mistake, he may not live to see the next day.
Renard (when Adalind appears moments later): “You really get around, don’t you?”
Nick and Adalind were alone in fome waiting for Renard so I guess Nick was rubbing in what they were doing to Sean saying "she didn't turn me down". Sean says “You really get around, don’t you?” to Adalind suggesting that Adalind and Nick had sex at the fome just before which is very likely correct. Nick was washing his hands in the bathroom at the beginning of the scene.
Nick's comment was bad idea now that he is sending Adalind back to Renard.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
