No, Adalind was never called as a witness. The judge just summarily dismissed the charges.
The promise should have been, "once you have been cleared of the charges against you."
Renard did know what the judge would do, because he was the same judge who issued the search warrants.
Renard was the one who set up the whole early hearing thing when he had a phone smuggled into his cell. And he knew that it was going to happen before he made his promise. So he outsmarted them all the way.
And next week, Nick will have to outsmart him one better.
