Rewatched the episode on my big screen tv sitting closer so I could spot the Easter egg if I missed it on the first pass. Nothing specific, except the first three phone numbers of Bud's fridge repair business are 503 and by using the Wonka percentage method I was able to deduct that those are the correct numbers - it's a question of dividing a percentage half over again into the base sum. Do it enough times and you get an Easter egg, but not really.
But I always like the sayings at the beginning of each episode and noticed this one was from Huxley's Brave New World ("Maybe this world is another planet's hell") and seems to support the idea of a caste system that BC is trying to establish worldwide. Apparently, some see a warning in the book about the post-Industrial age necessarily conferring upon all citizens an obligation to embrace and accept science that is known and to seek further knowledge or there will be a danger of societies being oppressed by a power hungry upper strata. They will do it by engineering ways to replicate populations into automatons programmed to not think for themselves. I'm needing to see these BC thugs beaten no matter what happens to the Scoobies individually before the series ends. Not including wesen in general in that number, just BCers.
Did also notice the same pattern of ending almost every scene with a cell phone call. They should put them in the credits they run at the end of the show, annoying.
