I think you misunderstood my post. I wasn't blaming Nick. What I was saying is that Adalind had to be enough like Juliette so he wouldn't get suspicious.
I don't recall Nick saying anything about it being new. I remember him commenting that it was great or something along those lines.

No, not necessarily. The deception involved Nick and sex, not Trubel and eating bacon. As Juliette, Adalind's hexenbiest shouldn't have said anything. Just because she did doesn't mean she is under the control of Juliette's memories. She merely has access to them.
