Will Nick want Adalind to explain why she left with Kelly without talking to him first? Why she didn’t trust him to help her? Is Adalind going to ask why Nick lied about finding anything in Germany or that the tunnel didn’t actually go anywhere? Or are they going to continue ignoring that they don’t trust one anther and resume playing house rather than build a healthy relationship, whether living together or apart, that will benefit their son?
Nick has trouble trusting both Adalind and Eve because they are hexenbiests. If he sees Adalind has not changed to much he should be able to get a better read on his feelings of her whatever they may be and this should help build more trust in the relationship than before. Please remember Grimms do not thrust completely non-grimms so any relationship Nick has with a non-grimm will have some secrecy. Adalind was more comfortable with Nick keeping secrets vs Juliette because zauberbiest and hexenbiest couples keep secrets from each other. For example, they cannot read each other potion books.
