You are so very correct. Allow me to be clear, Kenneth was a creep who in my view deserved to die. But I am deeply troubled by so called adults who could actually cheerlead a character in a show who is police officer who openly commits premeditated murder. And as you point out, other officers were portrayed as willing to murder a suspect too...and their Captain ultimately goes along with it, because he is complicit in other murders.
And people will say. lighten up it is just a fantasy show, but unfortunately, taking the wesen part out of this, analogous things have happened in police departments in real life. I don't find it one bit funny when it occurs in real life and I don't find it amusing when it is portrayed on television as the heroic thing for a police officer to do. And yes I hold LEOs to a higher standard than civilians, National Guard or active military.
I really and truly hope the writers have the moral courage to address this as the series winds down.
