Now seeing as he delivered her to the safe house it would make since he would be wondering how she is. He is the one that delivered her. Then again showing Diana was to put her back in our minds so we would not go who is she on her return.
then adalind and meisner look in episode 4 was another waste of screen time to throw us off the scent of what their intentions were as regards to writing
I remember the internet was abuzz with speculations of a Nick/Adalind/Meisner triangle after that scene aired.
I suppose that Meisner might have been remembering Diana and Adalind because he felt guilty for trusting Kelly with getting them to safety and keeping them together. Unless Meisner & Sebastian were deceiving Adalind, they never indicated they didn’t intend to keep them together.
If Meisner remembering Diana was the show’s way of reminding us of her and that she would make an appearance in S5, it would have been much more respectful if the show allowed Adalind to miss, and worry about her daughter being with the Royals, and dream about her daughter.
But this could have been Greenwalt & Kouf purposely creating a scene that would question if it was about Diana or about Adalind.
