JuliEve seems to be making a habit of forcing Nick to drop everything and come meet her for 1-minute conversations they could have easily had over the phone, doesn't she? When she asked "can you come meet? It has to be now", I was kinda hoping Nick would be like "You know what? No. I have my own life going on and I cant keep dropping everything to run to you whenever you feel like touching base. Anything you want to tell me you can tell me right now on the phone."
I liked the crazy doctor storyline, but I thought all the old-age makeups were done pretty poorly. Maybe I'm just too critical from watching Face Off regularly And they seemed to gloss over the whole "how are we going to explain this?" question after the monster-face doctor goes crazy, murders a photographer, and then just suddenly drops dead. And I guess those murders/missing-person cases are just going to stay unsolved? What do they tell the roommate?
Who would become the new Chief if/when Renard is elected? That seemed to be a gaping question they left unaddressed. Its not like there's a Lieutenant Chief or anything that's the obvious choice. Its not like we've seen anyone more senior than Nick and Hank in the police hierarchy. Does Renard hand the reins off to Nick so that there's not a Kehrseite getting in Nick's way (the mayor gets to choose, AFAIK)? Or maybe the writers give it to Hank, so they can make more time for Wu as the "Kehrseite in the field", and free Nick up to do his Grimmy thing?
I wonder if the casting call for this episode read "One female, late 20s, looks pretty much exactly like Zooey Deschanel"
