And you know......in a way, I'm liking that. I liking that a lot. She is scary. Bitsie's doing a pretty good job there with her acting ability. The other thing I wanted to say is that Grimm needed a character who IS scary and NOT easily to defeat. Nick needs to know that because he tends to forget that there are things out there worse than Eve. She will be a constant reminder.
Hooray, at last some positive comments on Bitsie's acting creds; I totally agree! And I don't disagree about the series needing a scary antagonist to keep Nick from getting too complacent about his ability to match all comers; it's a concept I hadn't considered.

In reality, it would not. The series is about Nick, who's a Grimm. Eve could easily be more powerful than him and much more scary. The fun about her (IMO) is the speculation about what her character might or might not do.
I feel that the show is about Nick being a Grimm first and foremost. You don't have to be the most powerful to prevail, just the smartest. I put my money on Nick in a match with Eve because he's better equipped (call it instinct) to think in terms of not only the facts of a situation, but on the probable human response to it.
Don't see how HW could allow Eve to live after she has served her purpose to them. She really is a threat to society, imo. But in the meanwhile, guess I'll sit back and enjoy the show. I continually have to push down my disappointment and sadness at what has happened to Bitsie's character, but as you say, she may actually like the fun in playing scary Eve.

My comment was directed at Eve, even though we could agree that Juliette was dangerous before the change, there is something even more unsettling to Eve; she's like a emotionless automaton who is incapable of viewing living things as having the intrinsic right to exist - they're just obstacles to her mission or of no importance beyond their usefulness to her purpose. Juliette the Hexenbiest still showed some glimmers of her waning humanity; she protected and comforted Diana, for example.

Meisner told Sean that Viktor made an arrangement with the Resistance to give them Diana in exchange for killing the king. Meisner would know since he was the one who did the deed. He could have lied; I just happen to think he didn't. Viktor assuming the crown and his probable fury at the king's dismissal of him were excellent motives, imo.
