Juliette wanted Nick to regain his Grimm abilities. She and Nick discussed the risks and agreed to proceed. No one (other than possibly Elizabeth) knew Juliette would be infected with Hexenitis. When Juliette first saw her Hexenface in the mirror, she screamed. The face of a decaying corpse is hideous. Even she was appalled by it. She wanted to be cured, but became frustrated and angry that no one could help her. She failed to recognize the fact that she agreed to the procedure and is partly responsible for the outcome.
Juliette didn't "lose" everything. She threw it all away. She betrayed everyone who cared for her. She became an amoral slut. She became an arsonist and a homicidal maniac. She did all of these by her own choice.
The high point of Grimm was when Trubel killed Hexenette to save Nick's life. The low point was when this Eve thing showed up. The existence of Eve makes death meaningless. Eve is proof that trust, morals, ethics, and civility are meaningless in Grimm.
