From a professional standpoint, it's not good practice for a captain to be fooling around, period. In that context I agree that Juliette should have never shown up on Sean's doorstep nor should he have taken her in.
However.......does Sean deserve a punch in the face from Nick because he took her in? No way.
Just because a few guys on the forum look at Nick beating the crap out of Renard the one and only big solution doesn't make it the right solution. There are just as many guys out there who might push whatever dumb revenge angle they might be harboring out of the way and just ask Juliette the logical question.....
"Are we through?"
Ok.... that is why the world would more civilizid if ruled by women.
So here's a question. When Juliette showed up at Sean's door and asked for help, do you think he did the right thing by helping her?
I think the question can be made in another way: Do YOU think Sean really helped Juliette?
I think he should have helped her. But there is a lot of ways of helping someone. And personally, I don't think he helped.
In this point we can debate a lot of subjects. If you consider helping just let her sleep a night at his place, yes he helped. But if you consider helping find a way to bring Juliette back to her human condition (that was what she asked first) he didn’t help. If I remember correctly, Juliette sad she was afraid of Nick. Sean didn’t help with this either.
Juliette was in jail after the bar fight. Sean did nothing either. Juliette moved to Kenneth’s hotel room. Sean didn’t even notice (Juliette stopped to sleep at Sean’s place at this moment).
There are a lot of small details… I ask myself: how much Sean really cared about Juliette? Maybe he just wanted some fun and when he had it he lost the interest in her.
