Maybe Nick will be shaped by the future but I pretty much think Nick is sort of a punk. His murder of Kenneth did not impress me, he sort of stacked the odds in his favor with his little knife trick. And aren't Grimms suppose to be super bad asses? To the best of my knowledge (until it is established otherwise) he simply killed an arrogant human with no special abilities other than being a grade A anal orifice. So he brings a knife to a fight with an unarmed human? Wu did pat him down. And then Wu and Hank were standing by as seconds and thirds. Sorry but Nick comes across to me a bit of a female reproductive opening in all of this.
Given what I wrote above, I don't think I am misunderstanding the character. I just think society's standards have been so degenerated that people now cheer a law enforcement official who murders people in cold blood and then frames them for murder (not a reference to my favorite jellyfish by the way).
