In fact, I warrant they blew up her character because she just wasn't working, and they had to do something huge or dramatic, otherwise having her around was kind of pointless. Maybe that wasn't the smartest choice. I for one am not sad about it, only because I didn't love Juliette. I didn't think she was particularly funny, entertaining, or really adding too much to the team.
I'm just saying that it's clear - like it or not - that the writers are giving this arc to Adelind. And because I see her as a more interesting character from the get-go, I think there's more potential there.
And you might be angry, you might stay angry, you might continue to hate watch the show. That's your choice, of course.
But that wasn't what I was talking about, grimmfan. I think you missed my point. I know you missed my question to you.
One could argue that everything Adalind did was at the behest of someone else.
She was a pawn in her mother's and Renard's games against Nick and his family.
She lashed out at Juliette because Nick took her powers and in reality she could have killed Juliette but all she did was make her forget Nick because she wanted him to live in the misery she was living in.
And we have to remember they stole her daughter. She was just trying to be a mother and be better and they took the child from he and then lied and smiled to her face.
Juliette was a true villain when she became a Hexenbeast the moment she burned the trailer down and tried to get Monroe shot when all they were trying to do was help her.
The reason she can't do anything about her powers is because she doesn't know if they are going to even return and as evidenced by Juliette's turn you don't F*** with powerful magics or you can get burned right back.
There are two sides to every argument. Juliette didn't deserve the hand she was dealt but the exact same thing can be said for Adalind.
