It is also shown that when Nick thinks back on their relationship, as in "The son also rises", he ends up with the picture of his mother's head in a box. As for Nick referring to Juliette as Eve. She chose that name to escape her past. Nick has a more realistic view of who she is.
Eve: They call me Eve.
Nick: Why Eve?
Eve: Because I'm starting over.
Nick: Do you really think it's that easy?
Eve keeps referring to Juliette as herself, but at the same time claims she is a different person. As Nick told Monroe:
“Well, she says she remembers everything, but she talks about Juliette as if she has nothing to do with her. Sounds like a complete split personality. I don't think they have a name for this”.
You have to wonder about the one brain cell that operates within Nick's brain. What is he getting at? Your dialogue seems to indicate he doesn't believe in a split personality, hence his question of "Do you really think it's that easy"?
Yet he tells Monroe "Eve" sounds like a split personality.
And in disagreement with your point, if Eve lost her powerful hexenbiest abilities, it does leave the door open for a Nick/Juliette re-team. There were many Adalind fans who were concerned they were going to get together as it was. After all, Nick's "I love you" was completely lost in the dialogue.
