Yet Eve takes a very unusual approach and states Nick should be with his son and so argues she's not interested. Also not the kind of scheme an extremely powerful hexenbiest could cook up, especially now that she has feelings to contend with. This claim keeps appearing from time to time.
Firstly, Henrietta was only shown to have the ability to hypnotize Nick for a few seconds. There was nothing suggesting she had the ability to make it permanent. If that were the case, Eve would not have to torture BC members to get them to talk. It was such a slow process that Meisner said he had to get coffee.
Secondly, even if Eve had the ability to throw a spell at Nick, it's unrealistic that Adalind and/or Rosalee would not be able to help Nick break free. It's even more unrealistic that Diana would not be able to help Adalind get Nick back.
Thirdly, and this is something that gets far too little attention: there is nothing to even suggest that Eva had extraordinary powers in season 6. After she got healed by the stick, she was unable to do anything when armed police attacked Bud's garage:
Rosalee: Isn't there something you can do?
Eve: I can try.
Nick: Eve!
Eve: Oh! I'm so sorry.
We never saw her upgraded powers return. When she fought Adalind in Blind Love, they appeared to be equal. She did usual Hexenbiest stuff, like blood magic to go through the mirror, after following the instructions in Adalind's book, but never anything “extraordinary” (from a Grimm- perspective).
