Sean, in my opinion, is among the few very intelligent as well as one of the most interesting characters on Grimm.
With this Nick/Renard stand off going on, I would naturally expect him to take some bureaucratic revenge on Nick and make Nick's life a living hell. For instance, he could have separated Nick from his trusty partners, Wu and Hank and forced him to work with someone else. Or, chained him to his desk working on paperwork while Hank and Wu go out. Or better yet, stick him on a different shift. Instead, it seems Nick has gotten the upper hand while Renard looks on. While I know many cheer that on, I would rather see a tight and tough war going on between these two.
I know a lot of people like Meisner, but the whole ghost and Mr. Renard episodes seem completely uncharacteristic of Sean. I like him triumphing in his own way as he always has.
