Confess I know little of Richard III and am a Shakespheare know-nothing; I have never been entertained by his plays, etc. I am a real low-brow, guilty as charged! Only English monarch I know anything about is Elizabeth I, my life-long favorite historical figure. She had a very long and extraordinary reign (restored her little country to greatness, imo), and was the most crafty, intelligent and wily head of state I've ever read about. And in an period she shared with such notables as The Bard, Sir Francis Drake, the guy who wrote "The Faerie Queen", etc., had the age named for her. That said, freely admit to the genius of Shakespeare! Richard III must have been a great king of England because Ned Stark, Tyrion Lannister and Stannis Baratheon, who comprise a composite of him, are all very wise leaders, brave warriors, and good men. Plus - bastard son named John. Profile fits alright.
