I don't think they know or care how the hexenbiest work, I think they just make things up as they go along to suit their purposes.
I will be surprised if they even ever reference again that Adalind's new hexenbiest was stolen from frau pech and illustrate the implications of that.
I do think there will be some kind of twist when her powers come back, but it will most likely be something new they decided to throw in there because they felt like it for maximum 'drama' though.
I wish they would explore the implications of Adalind having frau pech's hexenbiest. And also, if that's the case, is Juliette/Eve's hexenbiest completely new or just like a clone or offshoot of the one that Adalind has?
We truly don't know much about how hexenbiests work. Except for their woge, they really are nothing like any of the other wesen.
I totally agree. The thing I thought was interesting is that the hexenbiest could choose to inhabit Adalind or not. If this spirit can make a choice, there has to be some kind of thought process there. I was originally thinking that this spirit might be something similar to a parasite, but the spirit does have the capability to vacate if it senses something of a deadly nature (i.e., Grimm's blood). The issue though, is where does the hexenbiest go once it's out of the body? Does it just dissipate or does it inhabit something else? For instance, could it inhabit something living like an animal or plant? I would really have liked Grimm to look into some of these storylines.
