I agree re: the diving!
Also, I have family that are big fans of Liverpool so I do have a place in my heart for the Reds (be it a small one . However my heart, when it comes to English football, is firmly Blue.
Yes Chelsea won my heart when I first began watching. One of the first things I do when looking at a new league or sport to pick who to like is to look at the best team.
When I was first getting in to the EPL, this was of course Man U. So, not knowing anything else about the league I began watching matches to see who would be the first to oust the them in a match after I started watching, this would be my team! It was Chelsea and Didier Drogba who won my heart!
It was such a heartbreak to see Man City win out over my beloved Blues (as well as your Reds) this last season. It should be interesting year indeed this coming year.
Back to discussion about Suarez I totally empathize with the pain Reds fans must be going though at seeing such a talent take such actions. I can't imagine how I would have felt if Drogba were to do such things. I know I would be disillusioned and dismayed. Footballers and other high profile athletes around the world have such an impact on the youth that they must be held accountable for at minimum their on field actions.

You must be glad Mourhino's back, now if you get a couple of strikers, next season will be a blinder, watch the post world cup transfer window, disgraceful amounts of money will be spent, and I bet the Blues squad will be seriously strengthened.
I agree completely with you, we live in a world where celebrities of every stripe are allowed to get away with murder both figuratively and literally. And the truly sad thing is the media promote these people as role models for our children. As i get older I really lament the trend our society is taking, perhaps at some point sanity will take hold and the real hero's of this world will be promoted; doctors, nurses, teachers, soldiers, carers, those who give of themselves to improve ours and societies lot in life.
