You know, maybe this is where Nick's zombie-thing might come in handy. They could find out that somehow that stuff inside him fights against Adalind's curse. To make it more dramatic, it could take time, leaving Nick in a Grimm-less limbo for a while.
I can totally see Nick's pushing Juliette away too. That's a really good point, as was the fact that we have no idea if Juliette's going to 'forgive' Nick for what happened with Adalind.
Hank, just a regular human, helps fight Wesen, so theoretically Nick still could help with Wesen bad guys as a private citizen, but I just don't think it would work, because he'd continuously forget he's no longer a Grimm and would get his butt kicked. Does the PPD still provide medical insurance for cops on leave?
