Sean know becauseKelly’s intention was to manipulate Renard with the same spiel she gave Adalind on the plane - you’ll always be on the run, never safe, blah, blah, blah. The only difference is Adalind didn’t buy it and was willing to die to keep her baby safe, while Renard was willing to hand her over to keep himself safe and his lifestyle secure.

That Sean said, "I guess so," when she asked him if they were together again and then let people take her baby, or that Nick risked his life to protect them even though he pretty much hated her guts at the time?I think she gives Nick credit for protecting his son regardless of threats/difficulties and for accepting and protecting her despite their violent history. Nick was a driving force in taking Diana, but because Renard is Diana’s father, Adalind blames him for not standing against Kelly and the others.
Quote:I think that at that point Sean could actually have gotten onboard the daddy train, though who knows how things would have gone with him and Adalind. But since then he's gotten his sights set on power and discovered how much of it his daughter has, and as Sasha has said, Sean is always Sean.I don’t see Adalind & Renard working out because they have a child, but agree had things been different with Adalind & Diana’s arrival in Portland, Renard would have embraced fatherhood. But also agree that Renard is Renard, and once he saw how powerful Diana was he would have been much like the Royals wanting to use her powers for personal benefit.
