Nick's love life isn't going to be as big a deal as we think and it shouldn't lest we delve into soap opera territory.Quote:If it goes this way as you wrote, then it will fall back down to the love triangle once more, in which I think the show do not want to explore. I believe if Nick tells Adalind, which he has in season 5 made some "Trust me comments Adalind", that there is nothing with Eve, yes they Nick & Eve have history but nothing more. Adalind will trust him.Nick saying nothing is going on between him and Eve will be true. Eve will not be interested in him that way. That is why no love triangle. But that does not eliminate Nick longing for what he had with Juliette and trying to find it with Adalind. And Adalind would not be able to be another Juliette. When Juliette was dead it was out of sight out of mind. With Eve a constant reminder it won't be so easy to forget Juliette. This makes it even tough for Adalind because she and Eve will be friends but Eve will also be the reminder of Juliette the will cause the problems between Nick and Adalind. The bad part is Adalind can't tell Nick if you want Juliette then go to her because Juliette is dead. It is like trying to compete with a ghost. Adalind can't say stop working with Eve because Eve is not Juliette and has no interest in Nick so she is not the problem. The problem is that she looks like Juliette. You still have trust between Nick and Adalind. That is not the problem. But you have the communication issues. You also have the issue of how do you even discuss the problem. Because you do not have a villain other then Juliette who is dead. How does that conversation go. Adalind telling Nick "I am not Juliette she is dead" as Eve is sitting there drinking coffee looking like Juliette.
Remember, it is all about growing trust stronger right now for Adalind and Nick (That is one of the bonds that will be tested (not broken but tested) according to showrunners). They have shared some trust in season 5 and I believe are willing to share more in S6. I do not think the both of them are doing to be that dull to stoop low after moving 2 steps forward.
I think for Eve and Nick, Its all about redeeming.
This would be a good reason why they created the Eve character.
And I think you're overstating the group's "anger" at Adalind for taking Kelly to Renard. As far as we've seen, they believe and suspect she was coerced and she was. They are being supportive of Nick getting his son back, that was apparent.
