Juliette didn't know Adalind was pregnant beforehand. She wasn't surprised about hearing Adalind was pregnant because she thinks Adalind is a whore.
As far as not taking statements as facts go, Adalind's statements are constantly being questioned. There's speculation that she's running a con even though we've seen no evidence of that over the last two seasons. Adalind says she loves Nick and that isn't often taken seriously. The last words seen on the note referred to protecting Nick but that is immediately called out as nonsense.
Kenneth obviously put Juliette on the path to Adalind. He just didn't know when they would meet. Kenneth gave Adalind an escort just to go shopping two episodes before Iron Hans. In Iron Hans, he tells Juliette the news and lets Adalind roam free completely unprotected. Kenneth knew Juliette would hunt Adalind down soon enough.
Adalind wouldn't have stayed with Kenneth even if she had not gone to Nick unless it was under lock and key. She wouldn't have waited around for Juliette to get there. Adalind would not have trusted Kenneth to protect her from Juliette.
Juliette was becoming more and more unhinged. I can't say that Juliette wouldn't kill Adalind just because she didn't do it before. There's no reason to make it seem like the gang was unreasonable for being in fear of her. Juliette's actions escalated episode by episode.
