Quote:After all the crap he's endured, Nick has the right to score a body count that would put Rambo to shame. But he won't, because this show doesn't have the budget to depict what happens when a Grimm stops holding back. Then you missed the scenes where Trubel and Kelly go all Grimm on people. You are missing who the Nick character is. The show may be called Grimm but he is not a super hero. He is the one with strong character. The others are the super hero's. Every time Nick was insisting to do the right thing someone would need to come save him. Keeping Nick this way keeps the show grounded. It keeps the show from becoming Thunder Dome or some other apocalyptic society.
IMO I see season 6 addressing what would be so bad about wesen running things. It would give them plenty of room to address what is wrong with society as it is. Since the show does not adhere to a lot of social positions. I can see them not holding back in criticizing society. They have already done a few racial and gender related topics. They are constantly dealing with prejudice. The reaction of wesen when seeing a Grimm. Other then preconceived prejudice that reaction is unwanted. Most even say they have never seen a Grimm and never expected to see one. There reaction is a learned response not a factual response. That same knee jerk reactions that is cause the unarmed shootings.
