IMNTBMFHO there were two positive aspects. One, they worked on the Nick Adalind relationship and they started talking. They actually moved forward and developed both characters to an extent and gave them a quasi-real feel to them, kudos.
They finally found the perfect pat for Bitsie to play, an emotionless, zombie-like robot, 7 of 9 of Star Trek fame only without the two outstanding features of Jeri Ryan.
Now onto the beyond bad.
So am I supposed to believe that the wesen council, that has survived, likely for thousands of years, had no succession plan? Every modern country I am aware of, every corporation, every large company that is insured or has a loan is forced to have succession plans, key-man mandates (can’t all be present on the same plane, auto, train, building etc,) but the geniuses on the wesen council had no such plan or rules, no security, no bodyguards etc? What are they all inbred writers from Grimm? This is ludicrous. My gosh, the non-profit amateur fruit grower group I was a board member of has a mandated succession plan, key man provision etc.
And I am still confused by this. Grimms are supposed to be such bad asses, why is it Meisner can hang with them?
And drum roll, the Meisner /Adalind thing. What the furry kittens? By now he knows she has Nick’s baby…no man reacts this way. You met some woman, she is knocked up by some guy she had no relationship with, so a big oops, okay, her bad, you can handle that. But then the next time you see her she has had a baby with yet another guy she had no relationship with? You instantly label her a slut and walk away and get yourself checked for STDs if you ever slept with her and kick yourself for allowing yourself to develop an emotional attachment to what amounts to a hose bag; end of story. This warm and fuzzy feeling for Adalind from a guy’s perspective is pure B.S. From Meisner’s perspective (and that is what is relevant in their conversation) Adalind is nothing but a damn whore who spurred him so she could spread her legs for some other guy and have his baby – end of story. This plot thread is so beyond the pale of real human behavior it is asinine.
Two more observations, Silas Weir Mitchell and Jacqueline Toboni, both lost weight. In Mitchell’s case, it seems like a neutral move and maybe he did it for himself, but see my comments on Jacqueline Toboni here:

I have to say your analysis is so perfect that am laughing... This episode is really ridiculous... And the wesen council thing... Didn't they know about video conference? Did they really need to be in the same place... In the same room..???
Didn't they check their members? Isn't there a vice wesen council anywhere?
