Just too strange. Secondly, she despised him, so it would be quite traumatizing. Thirdly, Nick would never let her take such a risk. When Nick talked to her on the phone, Adalind first thought she was the one to turn into Renard, before Nick said he got Eve to help him. Adalind only found out later that it was Nick who was going to change into Renard.(11-16-2020, 04:19 PM)N_grimm Wrote: BTW, after the final, Nick also had access to magic (two Hexenbiests and a staff), so Renard's consent became increasingly irrelevant.
He didn't have any of that after he turned into mayor Renard. In point of fact, that actually didn't come until later on. But you bring up an interesting point, (and I don't often say that). It does seem strange that Adalind has never cast any type of a revenge spell on Renard. Eve is a different story. She had already morphed into Renard, yet the team didn't even consider using her to impersonate him as mayor. I have a feeling she wouldn't have done it anyway.
As for the staff, we all know Nick changed his universe, so the people he came back to in the portal were not the ones he left behind. I suppose you could be right. He could control alternate universe Renard if he wanted to. But then he could control Adalind, the scoobies, even the kids.
And for a hundred times, NO – the show did not end with Nick creating an alternative universe… He struggled not to be dragged through the portal and did not know what had happened before he saw them alive on the other side.
