@AlteredRealtity: I agree that Josh is having the uninitiated person's response to the Grimm and Wesen world his father was a part of. He made a decision to remain that way when he left Portland. What concerns me is that he returned there after Nick told him to find a safe place to hide away, which I took to mean not to come to Portland - because his pursuers could track him there. He seems to feel that Nick is under an obligation to protect him. Nick and company will protect him, of course and that's as it should be. But he's going to have to break the paralyzing grip his fear has on him - like I would be any different!
If this is a way the writers are using to perhaps find that other key (it may be there are clues to its location in the trunk or something in the journals Mr. Porter passed along), then it makes sense and he will probably accept Nick's and his dad's missions and all that goes with it. I just hope he's not going to turn out to be one of those folks Monroe talked about who are pushed over the edge when they are confronted with this 'reality' - and cause alot of danger to all involved.
@Droid227: When I saw Hank jump into that hole, I was thinking that if she were uninjured and conscious, he could couple his hands together and give the officer a leg up to reach the top and Monroe could pull her out. At the same time, I was aware that it was awkward and probably done to clear the field for Nick to face the bad guys alone.
Wanted to add, AR, that if you go to Grimm Discussions you'll see how to use the spoiler tags (I have to refer to it, too, because I use them so seldom.)
