Probably Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Especially toward the end, when Hyde takes over completely. Not a perfect analogy, since in Juliette's case the hexenbiest is an unplanned effect rather than the result of an intentional experiment. But the gradual takeover by the malevolent persona is reminiscent.
