Nick's already made up his mind about who he wants. He's had plenty of opportunities to choose differently and he hasn't because he's actually happy with Adalind. He's been a lot more free, openly intimate with her. The only thing missing is a confession of love from him to her and that seems like it will be covered during the scene with the kiss from the promo. He already loves her, now he just needs to tell her. It's crazy that they had him wait this long.
Regarding Eve/Juliette, he's not impressed with Eve's suicide mission prompting him to ask her if she thinks her friends will be better off without her? He feels responsible for everything she's been through. What she's doing isn't wise, it's almost selfish and he's trying to talk her out of it. He's thinking she's trying to redeem herself by dying and she lashes out at him (sensing his guilt) by claiming she doesn't need rescuing, she's not Juliette. These two are trying to "fix" the past in their own way, not return to it.
