When he went to the mansion a quick kiss and up the stairs to see Kelly. Not once did not mention wanting to see Diana. If he was really into Adalind would he not want to form a connection with Diana. On the roof his main concern was he get Kelly. Wanting Adalind was more a second thought. He had no concern about Diana.
Nick asked about Diana and Adalind seemed uncertain about Nick and her so she did not bring him to Diana then.
Syscrash, you appear settled with you’re assessment of Nick good/Adalind bad, so maybe you can help me understand Nick’s game plan.
I know Nick’s about face after returning from Germany was because G&K wanted to change the direction of Nick/Adalind, so for the sake of this discussion, let’s ignore their convoluted mess and agree that Nick never trusted Adalind and doesn’t love her.
When Nick returned from Germany, why didn’t he tell Adalind he didn’t love her and then stay out of that bed? It wasn’t about sex, Nick seemed to avoid intimacy with Adalind unless she pressed the issue. And he didn’t know the suppressant had worn off, so he wasn’t worried about retaliation at that point.
If Nick had been upfront with Adalind in S5, bartering for her on the rooftop wouldn’t have come up, but why do you think he did? Because she might retaliate? Like you, he doesn’t really believe she’s changed and would easily revert to revenge mode? Pity, that will disappear once he see’s that Juliette is back for good?
So what’s Nick’s game plan?
One speculation I’ve been mulling over is that Nick hugging Adalind after the Renard spell didn’t have anything to do with Nick/Adalind moving forward, but rather, showcasing Diana’s reaction and possibly setting up the Juliette/Nick/Adalind triangle with the positive emphasis on Juliette. I’m speculating that Juliette is not the intrusion in this triangle, Adalind is, and that’s why the show had Nick bring her back to the loft. It’s only to create conflict for Nick before choosing Juliette.
Mid summer dream everything is switched at the end. What they show in the promo is not likely to be what happens during that show at the end. An evil force is after Eve is this 607 so nothing is clear until the last minute.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
