I haven't checked the back episodes for absolute factual content, but I do remember in Season Two, Renard having a few conversations with Nick and Sebastien about the Royal families' plan:
1. World power. Kelly Burkhardt told Nick that that was their goal, also, and that they were working at subversion in many countries to take over governments. (She also showed him the one remaining page of a Grimm diary which contains some clues about the whereabouts of the keys or the item itself, I think; it was hidden by the sisters in the chest in the trailer.)
2. There are seven keys. Renard told Nick that the Royals were in possession of four. Nick's would make five and that leaves only two to complete the map to the buried item that would guarantee them success in their quest for domination. (This is probably not so, but I have always wondered if the two other death certificates and permits Sabastien found in Eric's desk might be for the other two Grimm who have keys.)
3. I think Sean went to Austria to secure a real alliance with the Lauder or other Resistance groups and that he was successful.
I also agree that a royal prince, pure of heart (chemically induced was acceptable!), was needed to wake Julliete.
Those coins are still in Kelly's possession and she seems to be having trouble getting to the island they where were forged to destroy them.
