Not once have we seen Diana show any kind of fear or concern. Twice the ones that where taking care of her have died. Not even the smallest sign of concern. When she was little she cried while Adalind held her till Kelly came into the room. Twice we have seen her express displeasure when with someone she does not want to be with. No sign of displeasure while with Kelly. Yet no concern when Kenneth attacked Kelly. From all indication we have seen, she imitates behavior instead of responding like a child. We she she was reading a fairy tale book. Then acts it out with Adalind and Sean. Unless the show makes a major change in the character, there is no expectation that Adalind will be able to change Diana's behavior. Whats more there has been no indication that Adalind would even want to. At some levels Adalind seems scared of her. Like Adalind said you would be surprised what little girls can do. Also Diana has not done anything that Adalind would not have done herself. It is one thing for Adalind to ask Diana to stop. It is another to want or get her to stop. Also Adalind has not been around Diana enough to actually know what Diana is and capable of. Even with Rachael, Adalind did not intervene and save her.
Adalind would never do the things that Diana did because Diana kills without any reasoning at all. She has been trying stop her. She thought she was having a dream with Rachael's death.
