Oh, it is not, New Guy. The show already brought Renard back and the Jack the Ripper story arc was much dumber, in my opinion. Bringing the dead back to life and even changing the deceased one's name is not uncommon in science fiction.
However......she really was never dead. One of them, I can't remember which, was accused of speaking with a forked tongue with the whole Juliette/Eve was she dead was she not question. No need to say any more.
Here are the two Greenwalt quotes:

Quote:He said that yes, she is indeed dead.http://screenertv.com/television/8-thing...ette-dead/
Quote:Is Juliette really dead? Really? Can we expect her to come back? “No,” says writer/producers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf in unison. And unfortunately, Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette) was obviously very absent from the group that included David Giuntoli, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bree Turner, Claire Coffee, Sasha Roiz, Russell Hornsby and Reggie Lee.Note that it was a fan calling "forked tongue."
But then someone pipes up, “He speaks with forked tongue!”
Reworded, "She is indeed DEAD! As in "really" dead, not some metaphor. FrankenEve was a cockamamie idea; as in ridiculous; implausible.
Perhaps the stick will restore her to the Juliette that Trubel killed. The scene could be FrankenEve returning to her natural state of a year old decomposed corpse, much like her woged visage. Yuk!
