When Trubel wakes up and starts telling Nick and Adalind about the group she is with. Trubel says "Trubel: HW, or Hadrian's Wall, or something. I... That's what they call themselves.". After the next episode we find out Trubel knew exactly who they where. There was no "or something" about it. It was like Trubel realized she had said to much. She then says "All I know is they're a part of the government, but a part so secret that most of the government doesn't even know they exist." as if to let Nick know what she is saying is not suppose to be common knowledge. As the conversation continues she only references the group by HW, and claims to know little details about what is going on. Even to the point she has no idea where or why they send her to do what Grimm's do.
At the time listening to Trubel's conversation there where a lot of holes in it. Once we find out the facts. We see Trubel has a problem sticking to her cover story. She may be a good assassin but lousy at undercover.
