It airs on TNT at 5am here in the U.S. so I can't imagine the actors are making a load of money off the syndication deal.

It seems we have a very different understanding of residuals. And of course personal lifestyle choices greatly effect how significant residuals are to an actor.

Residuals are outside my expertise. They do exist and I defer to Wikipedia and one other web post with some numerical examples. I would expect the agent/manager of cast members of Grimm anticipated Residuals while negotiating compensation.
