OMG you may be right. I never thought of that before. That the only person the ring would allow to touch her is Renard.....and very painful consequences for Nick and Adalind, but remember Conrad threaten the kids to..
PS( YOU SHOULD MAKE A NEW THREAD WITH THIS...I FOUND YOUR IDEA PLAUSIBLE)

Consider when they wrote this they where not even sure their was a next season. So they may not have even though where they would go with it. Will the ring be like the coma. That ran and entire season. Or will it be a shot term plot twist to explain why Adalind not with Nick, alowing Eve back into the group.
Well the producers said the ring comes into play next seaon..could be plausible
Conrad was choiced with his words, talking to Adalind 1st he said you are the princess and Sean is the prince...then he warn do not take this ring off ..because if you do painful things will happen to the children so the ring could be cursed 2 -fold (Keeping Adalind away from Nick and hurting the children

The characters Adalind and Diana work well together. With Diana Adalind seems to be making sure she does the right thing.
So far Adalind influence has done little to stop Diana from killing people lol..I say having Elizabeth come and be her guidance and driving Adalind up the wall would be more priceless
