rmp you make a good point and you are seeing as most are and as the writers are intending. The comments are coming from a strictly technical definition. The hard line people are taking is more about their moral perspective about sex. This are the same people that would find a mother daughter tag team session deplorable a violation of everything descent.
The show has never even come close to portraying a puritanical position on sex. They closes they came was, having Juliette break up with Nick before sleeping with Sean. Even that people are complaining because she did not wait an appropriate time or because it was his boss.
If you are someone that finds sex as something that should be cherished, or scarred then you would find that part very offensive and not understand why Nick does not feel violated.
