Nick felt the hurt Juliette was feeling. He just did not have the same feeling of hurt about himself. Nicks big reaction did not kick in till after the wedding when he discovered his powers where gone.
What some are failing to see is the show does not hold sex in the same regard as others do. On this show sex is just another casual activity. A lot of people see sex as a very personal intimate event. This show does not assign such significance. There is one thing the show did that sort of violates this, and I would imagine it was network pressure. The made clear the Juliette had left Nick before she sleep with Sean. Which is why the outrage that Juliette sleep with Sean make no sense. She had moved out. Some people feel it is immoral to not wait and appropriate time. These are the same people that would have a problem with casual none meaning sex.
When you consider threesomes, couple swapping, mother daughter tag teaming are considered normal. Why would it be hard to see why Nick was only upset about how it made Juliette feel.
