It could have been as simple as creating a replacement for Adalind. Remember Elizabeth said to beat a hexenbiest like Adalind you need a hexenbiest like me. We all thought she was talking about Nick losing his Grimm. How about if it was as simple as taking a Nick's powers makes Adalind a threat. Remember up to this point Sean keep Adalind from doing anything to Nick. If Sean had his mother change the potion, when Juliette came to Sean's door he would need to act surprised. Think about it. When confronted with the news, he is not even willing to look for his mother. Any other problem Sean has always gone to Rosalee, this time he doesn't even mention Rosalee. Instead Sean sends Juliette to Henrietta who helps her understand her powers and eliminates all hope of a solution. A solution that Adalind had no problem of coming up with. Are we to believe that Adalind knows more the Henretta.@syscrash you do come up with out of box ideas. On Adalind suppression potion she did say it wasn't in the book. I can see different hexen knowing things from their family that are like trade secrets of the family.
Your ideas on Elizabeth and Sean means for me to do some rethinking. These are good reason to take another look at that whole thing.
A while back I started a thread "Renard, Revelation and Revenge" where I proposed Captain Prince Sean Renard was involved in most if not all of Nick's suffering and loss. When this is fully revealed to Nick he may seek revenge on Sean Boy. For certain Sean and Mommy Elizabeth worked together to cook up some of the most horrible experiences in Nick's life. I do not buy the "unknown side effect" lie. I believe they knew full well what the outcomes would be. That is why Renard was not surprised when Juliette Woged.
When will Nick wise up, Grimm up and beat up Renard?
